Imagine a full year gifted for the purpose of intentionally learning how to #HearHim.
- In years past, we've done many year long curriculums: Book of Mormon study, New Testament... What about a year of study on “HearHim”? Starting in earnest around March/April 2020.
- I wondered to myself, how am I experiencing #HearHim, and what grade should I receive as of today?
- Interesting note... none of the 12 questions require being inside a Church building to experience.
- There are 12 questions asked by President Nelson.
- There are 22 blessings associated with those asks.
22 Blessings Promised
- Nothing shall be withheld from the Saints.
- Revelation continues to flow from the Lord.
- You and your family can be sealed together forever!
- You can enjoy the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost.
- He will guide and protect you.
- You will never be left comfortless or without access to the power of God to help you.
- Priesthood power can bless you as you receive essential ordinances and make covenants.
- When we seek to hear -truly hear- His Son, we will be guided to know what to do in any circumstance.
- Daily immersion in the scriptures will tell us how to respond to difficulties we never thought we would face.
- Every minute of time at the temple will bless you and your family in ways nothing else can.
- Increased time in temple and family history will improve your ability to Hear Him.
- He (Holy Ghost) will bring thoughts to your mind which the Father and Son want you to receive.
- He (Holy Ghost) will bring a feeling of peace to your heart.
- He (Holy Ghost) will testify of truth and will confirm what is true as you hear and read the word of the Lord.
- Increasing spiritual capacity will help you know how to move ahead with your life.
- Increasing spiritual capacity will help you know what to do during times of crisis.
- Increasing spiritual capacity will help you know how to discern and avoid temptations.
- Increasing spiritual capacity will help you avoid the deceptions of the adversary.
- Prayerful study (individually and with family) of the Restoration will result in your own witness of its divinity and purpose.
- Intentional effort to Hear Him will come with a promise that:
- You will be blessed with additional power to deal with temptations, struggles, and weakness.
- Miracles will happen in your marriage, family relationships, and daily work.
- Your feeling of joy will increase even if turbulence increases in your life.
